It’s sad to have to write this review but unfortunately Mark has decided to be unaccountable for the state of his van which is a dangerous attitude considering what happened to me and my son when we hired it from him. Firstly he charged £38 for ‘cleaning’, but chose to pocket this for himself rather than pay professionals to do a good job. On arrival I had to prompt him to remove his rubbish from the van. I later had to clean it myself as it was disgusting. The fridge was full of water, empty packets and rancid cloths - it stank. We drove to get out of London, it was the start of a heat wave. I closed the windows to put on the A/C. Alas, although Mark had advertised this, it didn’t work. Having left London it was getting a dusty, flies etc, I tried to clean the windscreen, no spray came out, probably Mark had forgotten to fill it. I sighed, yet another thing I would have to sort out, but at least we were close to the beach now, my son was impatient to get there after such a long journey. We were in Sussex when the van went over a pothole, both tyres on the passenger side burst almost instantly. We waited for 4h30 on the side of this busy road. With a small child it was nerve-wracking. Finally the tyre guy came to replace the tyres. He identified the time-stamp and could not believe it - the tyres were almost 10 years old and totally unfit for purpose. I called Mark wanting to resolve this directly. He seemed to show genuine remorse and agreed to refund some money. Unfortunately he did not honour this and has since referred me to Goboony's dispute process, denying knowledge of the tyre condition and disputing the other issues. The facts speak for themselves. The tyres were approaching 10 years old — the date stamps are there for anyone to check. The A/C was advertised but didn't work. The windscreen wash didn't work. The van was dirty despite a £38 cleaning fee. These are not matters of opinion. I would urge anyone considering hiring this van to ask Mark to confirm in writing that the tyres have been replaced and the advertised features actually function before committing. Mai 2026

Great van, lovely owner. Van was clean and ran really well, Mark made handover super easy at both ends. Total success. August 2025

We really enjoyed our trip in Marks van, he was very accommodating and even provided two camping chairs for us! The van was great to drive, my husband loved it! Thanks for a great trip, we would happy recommend! August 2024
