This review is about our experience, I have no doubt the owner will counter our story but just remember that of the two disputes submitted to Goboony the results were 100% in our favour and we were awarded compensation although the owner did not respect the decision and hasn’t paid.
The van was as rough as expected being 40yrs old but I hadn’t counted on how filthy it was inside, to the point we had to wash dirty dishes before eating our first meal.
It’s an old van so having a breakdown wasn’t a huge surprise but what was unexpected was to be blamed for the cooling system issues on the basis that it hadn’t happened before, quite bizarre. The van was fixed and ran for another 700 miles so no lasting damage but the owner still tried to get me to pay for the repairs that were proven to be caused by poor maintenance.
The owner was rude on our return ( something about a house sale falling through) and literally called me a liar to my face.
The Goboony disputes system works well, although a little slow but hasn’t the ability to enforce its decisions. I would hire another van through them again but definitely not recommend Kennith due to his poor character and dishonesty.
I’d suggest Goboony dump this person from their web site.
