Very disappointing experience – 0/10 Unfortunately, our experience hiring this motorhome was extremely disappointing and fell well below the standard we expected. From the moment we took possession, it was obvious that the motorhome had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard. There was urine on the toilet seat, a strong public-toilet smell, mould inside the fridge, a dirty sock left in a cupboard, and visibly dirty utensils and drawers. The overall level of cleanliness and hygiene was completely unacceptable. The gas tank was also empty, meaning we were only able to boil one kettle before the gas ran out. There were also warnings on the control panel that a service was due and that the blue fluid needed topping up — not things we expected to encounter after paying to hire a motorhome for our holiday. Unfortunately, things got even worse when the motorhome broke down, resulting in us losing approximately 24 hours of our holiday. We had to cancel campsite bookings and missed places we had carefully planned and were really looking forward to visiting. It caused a huge amount of inconvenience, disruption and disappointment. What made the experience even more frustrating was the attitude and response from the owner when we raised our concerns. Rather than showing understanding or trying to resolve the issues, we were essentially told that if we weren’t happy, we should just return the motorhome. This was extremely unhelpful and showed very little concern for the fact that we were on holiday and had already been significantly inconvenienced. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The cleanliness, maintenance, breakdown and especially the owner’s attitude were nowhere near what we would expect when paying for a holiday vehicle. Unfortunately, we would not recommend hiring this motorhome. 0/10. September 2026

We had messages with Alastair before booking where he said that he accepted dogs. When we arrive on Saturday night the first thing that he said to us was you have dogs so you can’t have my van. He then tried to get us to pay an extra security deposit which he then called compensation, so it sounded like if we paid it then we wouldn’t get it back!! We ended up last minute having to find a different van!!! Juni 2026

Everything went great, we had a lovely time. The camper had everything we needed and Alistair was always available for questions even on the road. The camper drove very reliably. Juni 2026

Alistair is a really nice lad and very easy to deal with. He made the whole process hassle free. We went around the north of Scotland on a mix of off grid and a campsite. The camper is perfect for both with plenty of space and equipment. We had no issues and I would highly recommend Alistair and his camper to anyone looking for an enjoyable holiday. Oktober 2025

Good sized motorhome that 6 of us squeezed into. 3 good sized beds, and the table area can be made into another bed. Nice kitchen and bathroom, and plenty of storage. Alistair was very flexible and met us at the airport early, and even dropped us back into town after. We felt very well cared for. I'd highly recommend renting this camper for the fantastic service you'd receive. September 2025
