First time campervaner’s - Richard was on hand for any Q’s before during and after the trip.
The van was very well equipped and fun to drive.
It rained for 3 out of the 7-days we spent in Wales which made it interesting, especially with a family of x4 (2 young kids) + a 32 kg dog BUT it still didn’t feel too cramped And we made the best of it!
Would recommend Richard and his vans to anyone, experienced or not.
Hope to be back soon for a full week of sun :)

Richard at Lovely Campervans is a pleasure to do business with.
His vans are identical, absolutely immaculate (never more than 2 seasons old), very comfortable to drive and are equipped with everything you need for a real home from home. The daily hire rate for mid July was incredibly reasonable.
Several neighbours were impressed when seeing the van parked on our drive so we did the honourable thing and told them it wasn’t ours and pointed to the sticker on the side! Richard, I hope this results in some eventual new business for you!
10-10 - wouldn’t hesitate to hire from Richard again.

We hired a camper from Richard at Lovley campers he made it a complete breeze no fuss on collection, all the information we needed was to hand. The van was new in 2021 and had only covered 6000ish mls, We were camper newbies and didnt know what to expect but with Richards advice we fell into van life, the camper was straight forward and a delight to drive. Roll on next year.

We had a fab holiday in this lovely and modern campervan. It was easy and pleasant to drive, the beds were comfy and even though the van is compact, once we put all our stuff away it was really comfortable for the 3 of us, and a great way to explore the UK!

We toured Wales for ten days , a great way to see a beautiful country though I think we picked the wrong year as everyone else had booked the decent caravan parks, by decent I mean ones within striking distance of places of interest as we had no other transport other than the van, I'll take bikes next time or book earlier. Hire from Richard for a worry free experience. Campervan was perfect for our expedition. Everything we needed to be completely independent. Van was immaculate, easy to drive and not a problem to find parking spaces big enough. As first timers Richard was a joy, no question too silly and a small issue we had while travelling was dealt with promptly. I thoroughly recommend hiring from Richard.

We had the BEST holiday in our campervan. We went to Bavaria, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Northern Italy and back through France in 2 weeks. It was perfect for us and our 2 daughters (aged 9 & 7). It is a compact campervan but to be honest that makes getting around and driving it easier. We learnt after a day or 2 the jigsaw puzzle of where to put stuff. We also took a pop up tent so that we could store stuff in there when we were on a campsite for a couple of nights. We had 2 kids, 2 bikes, 2 paddleboards and plenty of other stuff so it worked for us.
Richard was really helpful - responding quickly with an issue with the key (just a battery needed) and was very kind helping us jumpstart our car as the battery had gone flat whilst we were away.
The only challenge we had was when it rained (and rained and rained!) and needed to be in the campervan all together as clearly you don't have space to 'lounge'. So if we were travelling in the winter for example I think a bigger campervan would work better - as it is ideally suited for a family of 4 when you can use the outside space for your stuff and to eat/ sit out.
Overall, we had a fab time and have already recommended it to our friends/colleagues.

We've had a great holiday in one of Richard his campervans. Communicating with Richard was very easy and he responded very quick. Before arrival he asked us if we wanted to camp on a farmersfield close by. On arrival the campervan was already set on the farmersfield and the only thing we had to do was relax. I can really recommend hiring a campervan from Richard!
