Stephen was so anal about his van that it kind of ruined the trip. Everything had to be done in such a particular way, and there was a huge amount of judgement if you didn't do things his way. He is far too precious about his van to be renting it out to the public. For example we accidentally marked one of the plastic bowls and he kicked up such a huge fuss about it. Considering we paid £1100 for the rental a £0.50 bowl is not a big deal. Of course we were happy to pay for anything we damaged but he made us feel really bad for it. Also we had a little scrape in the van and he really milked it. It ended up being £2500 to repair even though it was just a tiny little scrape he was clearly trying to milk as much out of it as possible. Would not recommend if you want a nice relaxing van trip Juli 2026

I think we both know the truth about how you treated my van, the damage you caused to my property and the filthy state in which it was returned. I did not set price for the damage your incompetence and poor judgement caused to the whole rear quarter side panel of my van, that was set by the garage. I’ve still got the invoice for it and you’re more than welcome to come and see it. The other reviews I’ve had before and since your hire tell a different story but why let the truth get in the way of a good rant.
