We hired Emily’s campervan for four nights for a fairly last-minute trip around Devon and Cornwall, and the whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. **Booking and communication** The trip was a fairly impromptu decision due to my personal circumstances, so I booked quite late. Emily responded incredibly quickly, immediately sent through all the information I needed and answered my follow-up questions clearly and promptly. Arranging the collection time and location was straightforward, and I couldn’t fault her communication at any stage. **Handover** The handover was equally smooth. Emily carefully walked us through the van and explained everything we needed to know, including setting up the beds, using the facilities and draining the tanks. More importantly, she came across as an exceptionally kind, genuine and caring person. I was travelling with my nine-year-old son, and she spoke to him and involved him in such a warm and authentic way. She immediately made both of us feel comfortable and excited about the trip. **The campervan** I knew from the listing that the van included plenty of amenities, but I was still surprised by just how comprehensively Emily had equipped it. I had brought several extra things because I hadn’t appreciated quite how prepared it would be; in reality, you could arrive with little more than your clothes and activity-specific equipment and have everything you needed. It included bedding, towels, crockery, cutlery, cookware, two gas hobs, outdoor chairs and tables, games and entertainment, a fan, and even small details such as plenty of tea towels. The solar shower was particularly useful for rinsing off after snorkelling in the sea. Emily genuinely seemed to have thought of everything. There was even a pair of binoculars, which unexpectedly became one of the highlights of the trip when we used them to spot basking sharks off the coast. The layout of the van has also been very thoughtfully designed. There is plenty of storage beneath the bed, a comfortable dining area with a table and swivel seats, and a lovely rear bed with doors that can open onto the view. Waking up beside the sea and looking out through the back of the van was absolutely perfect. We travelled during an unusually hot August heatwave, but the combination of the doors, vents, sunshade and window covers provided excellent ventilation and insulation. Emily had also supplied a fan, although we never actually needed to use it. **Driving and living off-grid** Although it is a moderately sized van, it drove extremely well and felt mechanically sound throughout. I have driven other vans before, including ones loaded with tools, and this performed at least as well as any of them. Other than getting used to its size, it wasn’t a dramatic change from driving a car. It accelerated comfortably on slip roads, cruised well on motorways and was equally pleasant when simply pootling along the coast. Everything inside worked exactly as it should, including the water, gas, shower, toilet and electrical systems. We spent much of the trip snorkelling around Devon and Cornwall and were off-grid for most of the time. The solar panels and batteries were more than sufficient for a couple of days. We used an electric hookup on one night, which allowed us to charge more devices and meant my son could use his laptop while it rained, but we could comfortably have managed without it. **Overall** I thoroughly enjoyed returning to campervan travel. I previously owned a much smaller van, but we eventually outgrew it, and it had been several years since we had taken a trip like this. Emily’s van gave us exactly the kind of spontaneous adventure I had hoped for, while still being comfortable, practical and exceptionally well equipped. Emily is clearly not simply operating a large rental business. She comes across as a genuine campervan enthusiast who is sharing something she loves, and that care is evident in both the van and the way she treats the people hiring it. She is exactly the kind of person you would want to rent from: warm, trustworthy, helpful and incredibly thoughtful. We had a wonderful four nights and made some very special memories. I would wholeheartedly recommend both Emily and her campervan.Wellington – 2-Bett-Peugeot Boxer ab 2014

Our first campervan trip - and all worked out very very well. Comfortable van - easy to live and travel in. We enjoyed a super week travelling up to the north Norfolk coast.Diesen Text in Deutsch anzeigen
What can I say about Wellington (as Emily likes to call her van) It was well equipped, well maintained and well comfortable. It runs well and happy on motorways or country lanes. You can tell this is a van that the owner herself uses regularly as it has all the little things included so often missing in vans from companies. Thoroughly recommend.Diesen Text in Deutsch anzeigen
The booking process was easy, Emily was very responsive, promptly answering any & all questions. The hand over was straightforward & even enjoyable; with Emily’s enthusiasm for and enjoyment of RV adventures in Wellington being infectious. Our first stay in an RV in many decades was more fun than we expected; The New Forest is pretty, charming & quiet (early October). Everything about Wellington worked well & Flora (our Dalmatian) enjoyed her stay too. The van was easier to drive than I was expecting. We are looking forward to our next RV adventure. Thank you Emily.Diesen Text in Deutsch anzeigen
Our first GoBoony experience and it couldn’t have been better thanks to Emily. We found Emily to be very communicative and helpful, and Wellington the van to be exactly as described.Diesen Text in Deutsch anzeigen
