George – 4 berth Volkswagen campervan from 2023

George is our second camper van and benefits from a high end conversion having learned what we wanted to improve upon from our first van Virgil.

Up front you have excellent driving with a 150bhp engine, all the electronics you need and Recaro sports seats to make getting to your destination a dream.

Spin the passenger seat in a simple click on arrving and you’re already pitched.

Sink, fridge and gas hob are in the back with an under slung gas tank meaning there’s no bottle that can run out and need changing. This also feeds the optional gas BBQ that simply clips in under the rear bumper.

There’s plenty of storage space with draws meaning you don’t have to get on your knees to find what you need.

Your bed is super comfy and very easy to put down. Importantly it has a large space behind it to store your duvets and bags - something that is missing on many vans resulting in your floor being full when travelling.

George has multiple USB charging points and a solar panel to help you stay “off grid” for several days without needing to hook up or run the engine.

There’s a diesel heater to keep you warm in the winter and George also benefits from excellent insulation including thermal blinds.
