We wanted to try a holiday in a van before we look at buying our own and Clyde seemed to be a good fit for us as a couple.
Stephen was very helpful answering our queries even before we had booked with him and continued to be throughout the process.
He took time to go through everything as new campervaners and was pragmatic about any potential wear and tear on the vehicle, which was reassuring.
We’ve had a great time with Clyde, in Pembrokeshire. We had a variety of campsites, one with electric hook up and two without. Both worked well for us.
It took us a couple of days to organised in the van in a way which suited us and we have very much enjoyed the van life!

Excellent experience. We are looking to buy a van and wanted to experience it first. Stephen is excellent to deal with. Very polite, professional and friendly. Always responds very quickly. Ensured all questions were answered before I left and even answered a couple of queries whilst we were away. We think we are going to rent once more before buying our so will certainly be coming back here.

Great experience with Clyde the camper van. The owner, Stephen, was very helpful, with a visit to see the van before our trip, and videos explaining where everything was and how it all worked. Clyde was very easy to drive, and contained all we needed for our 4 day trip. The handover and paperwork was dealt with promptly and efficiently, and our security deposit was quickly refunded. We look forward to renting Clyde in the future.

From the first point of contact with Stephen I knew I was doing the right thing in hiring Clyde for our weekend trip to the Norfolk coast. Stephen is so helpful, from the initial questions about booking Clyde and what comes with the van, up until the moment I handed the keys back over, Stephen was at the end of a text if I needed him. Clyde was the perfect introduction into having a van and I'm definitely going to book again before I invest in my own. Clyde is a real head turner and he got lots of compliments from other campers. Couldn't recommend Stephen's Campervan Clyde highly enough. Perfectly clean, well equipped and Stephen was really helpful in handing over all the documents we needed and talking us through the van's features. It was our first experience (which meant having Stephen at the end of a call/message was all the more helpful), but we'll definitely be looking to take a few more roadtrips in the future!

A fun week away with Clyde, the van had everything we needed for a comfortable week away in Norfolk & Suffolk. The onboard heater was toasty warm and heated the van really quickly. The van was easy to drive and we thoroughly enjoyed our first camper van experience. Steve was at the end of a text message if we had any queries as novices to camper vanning. We would recommend Clyde without hesitation.

Well equipped camper with all mod cons...our trip to Cornwall 13-20th September was perfect made even better by Steve’s communication and eagerness to help. A pull out awning would be a welcome addition as the “pop up” awning available for added cost is not easy to put up and takes up space in the camper. All in all a great camper and a great experience

We had an excellent week in the campervan. Pickup and drop off times were flexible. We were surprised by the amount of amenities and space we had. There were only two of us so some nights we stayed in the top pop up bed and sometimes in the pull out bottom bed. There was a toilet included, however we didn’t use it as we were on campsites. Communication before hand was brilliant. It was lovely to drive and we are sure we will hire it again. That’s if we haven’t bought our own and this has truly sold them to us! Thank you Stephen :)

This was the perfect break during covid-19. We managed to self isolate before and then in the camper van so we could see sets of family that we self shielding. We were able to break up the long journey with the children with the reassurance of the portapoty. The children loved the van and the novelty of it kept them entertained during the travelling and overnight. We didn’t use the awning however it is more than a cover. It is a massive tent that attaches to the side of the campervan. Stephen was very flexible about pick up and drop off, and was able to reply to any questions we had about how to use the campervan during our travels. Pick up was considerate of our social covid isolation.
