Definitions:

Purchase of services: Seasonal rental of chalets for individuals.

Article 1: Scope of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These general terms and conditions govern, by operation of law and without restriction or reservation, all sales of stays made on the website www.hameaudesgenets.com, by phone, by postal mail, by email at contact@hameaudesgenets.com, or at the location where the service provider markets the services. They form an integral part of any contract concluded between the holiday village and its clients.

Each client acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions prior to making any booking of a stay, for themselves and for any person participating in the stay.

In accordance with applicable law, these general terms and conditions are made available to every client for informational purposes prior to the conclusion of any stay sales contract. They can also be obtained upon simple written request addressed to the establishment’s headquarters.

Article 2: Booking Conditions

2.1 Price and Payment

The price of the stays is indicated in euros, including VAT. Customers are informed that the tourist tax is not included in the price.

2.2 Accommodation Capacity and Occupants' Ages:

Maximum capacity: The number of people allowed per type of accommodation corresponds to the maximum capacity indicated. Babies and young children are included in this count of occupants.

Minors: For safety reasons, minors who are not accompanied by a legal representative or a responsible adult are not allowed to stay in the holiday village.

2.3 Rental Booking

For rental bookings: All rentals are personal and cannot be transferred. The booking of the accommodation becomes effective only after our agreement and upon full receipt of the total amount of the stay and the booking fees.

The total balance of the rental must be paid no later than one (1) month before the start date of the stay. For any unreported delay, the rental becomes available 24 hours after the arrival date specified in the booking contract. After this period, and in the absence of a written message, the reservation will be void and the deposit will be retained by the campsite management.

2.4 Reservation Modification
No reduction will be made in case of late arrival or early departure.

2.5 Cancellation

Any reservation not fully paid in accordance with the general terms and conditions of sale will be canceled.

The deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable (unless you have purchased cancellation insurance).

In the event of a cancellation on your part for fully paid stays, the total amount of the stay remains due and will not be refunded (unless you have purchased cancellation insurance).

In case of an inability to provide accommodation, the service provider will return the deposit paid by the client. The client may not request any compensation or damages.

2.6 Withdrawal

The legal provisions regarding the right of withdrawal in the case of distance selling provided by the Consumer Code do not apply to tourist services (Article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code).

Therefore, for any booking of a stay at the campsite, the customer does not have any right of withdrawal.
2.7 Cancellation Insurance

We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. This policy provides cancellation coverage, allowing you to receive a refund of the amounts paid in case of cancellation of your stay or early departure under certain conditions (illness, accident, etc.).

Insurance rates:

Chalet Rental: 4% of the price of the stay

Article 3: Stay Procedures

3.1 Arrivals and Departures

For rentals: arrivals are from 5 p.m., except on Sundays, and departures are until 10:30 a.m. any day of the week (except in August).

In case of high occupancy, the holiday village reserves the right to establish a departure schedule to streamline check-out and cleaning operations.

3.2 Deposit and Refund

Amount and Payment: A deposit of 300 Euros per accommodation will be required on the day of your arrival. It will be recorded through a bank card imprint (CB).
Refund: This bank card imprint will be released after the exit inventory check.
Inventory Check Procedures: The inventory check is not systematically carried out at the time of your departure and, as a result, it may not necessarily be done in your presence.
Deposit Withholding: The deposit made upon your arrival guarantees the proper care of the accommodation. It may be partially or fully withheld to cover:

The damages: Any damage observed in the accommodation or to the equipment. Cleaning: If the accommodation is not returned in a perfectly clean state (excluding cleaning packages already purchased). Departure Instructions (Cleaning) For everyone's comfort, we ask you to follow these basic guidelines before returning the keys: Tidying up: The accommodation must be tidied and the dishes washed and dried. Cupboards: Make sure not to leave anything in the refrigerator or storage areas (perishable food, etc.). Trash: Bins must be emptied and placed in the designated containers. Note: The cleaning option can be purchased for added convenience. However, it does not exempt you from leaving the place in a proper state of cleanliness and following the tidying instructions mentioned above. Additional Charges: If the cost of damages or cleaning exceeds the deposit, you will be charged an additional fee.

3.3 Departure

Any return of keys after 10:30 AM (or after the departure time communicated to you by the holiday village during peak periods) will be considered a late check-out and will result in the billing of an additional night. Any extension of stay must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure date.

3.4 Pets

🐾 Pet Accommodation Conditions
Acceptance:

The presence of a pet is subject to our prior approval at the time of booking.
Rate: €8 per day.
Limitation: Only one pet per rental allowed.

Exclusion Rules:

Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited.
Dogs over 20 kg are prohibited.

Required Documents:

Up-to-date vaccination record.
Liability insurance certificate.

House Rules

As required by law, you must comply with our house rules posted at our reception, a copy of which will be provided upon request.

3.5 Internal Regulations

As required by law, you must comply with our internal regulations, which are posted at our reception and of which a copy will be provided to you upon request.

Article 4: Client Responsibility and Insurance

The holiday village declines all responsibility in the event of damage (theft, loss, deterioration, accident) suffered by the tenant's equipment or person, including during the use of:

- bicycles provided;
- the swimming pool area;
- the mini farm;
or any other equipment/infrastructure on the site.

Liability insurance (RC) covering your equipment and occupants (such as FFCC, ANWB, ADAC...) is mandatory. The client acknowledges that they use all equipment under their sole and full responsibility.

Article 5: Authority and Compliance with the Rules

The holiday village is a destination that requires all occupants to comply with an internal set of rules. Guests are required to familiarize themselves with these rules and to follow them in full.

The Management is responsible for maintaining order and proper conduct on the site. It reserves the right to sanction serious breaches of the rules, which may include expulsion.

Any damage or violations of the Internal Rules will be fully the responsibility of the person causing them.

The full set of rules can be consulted upon request at the reception and via a QR code in the chalets.

Article 6: Intellectual Property

The content of the website www.hameaudesgenets.com is the property of the Service Provider and its partners and is protected by French and international intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction, distribution, or use, whether in whole or in part, of this content is strictly prohibited and may constitute an infringement offense.

Furthermore, the Service Provider retains ownership of all intellectual property rights in photographs, presentations, studies, drawings, models, prototypes, etc., created (even at the Client's request) for the provision of Services to the Client. The Client is therefore prohibited from reproducing or exploiting said studies, drawings, models, and prototypes, etc., without the express, written, and prior authorization of the Service Provider, which may be subject to financial compensation.

The same applies to names, logos, or more broadly any graphic representation or text belonging to the Provider or used and distributed by them.

Article 7: Applicable Law - Language

These general terms and conditions are governed by French law, and any dispute relating to their application falls under the jurisdiction of the High Court or the Commercial Court of Rodez.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are written in French. In the event that they are translated into one or more foreign languages, only the French text shall prevail in the event of a dispute.
