Camping La Chatonnière accepts bookings in order to guarantee you a rental on the date you have chosen.
Reservations for pitches or rental accommodation can only be made via the www.chatonniere.com website.
It is the Customer's responsibility to familiarise themselves with these terms and conditions before placing an order. The choice and purchase of a Service is the sole responsibility of the Customer. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are accessible at all times on the website and shall prevail, where applicable, over any other version or any other contractual document. The version applicable to the Customer is that in force on the Web Site or communicated by the Provider on the date the Customer places the Order.
Bookings are strictly personal and may under no circumstances be transferred to another person. Children under the age of 1 are included in the number of authorised persons. Only persons registered at the time of booking will be allowed on the campsite pitch or in the rental accommodation. The request does not constitute a definitive booking until it has been validated by the reservations department. (Confirmation sent by email within 3 working days). The booking will then be definitive.
It will only become effective after acceptance and validation of the payment of the deposit of 30% of the amount of the stay plus €10 booking fee. Stays of 2 or 3 nights must be paid in full, plus booking fees, at the time of booking. The deposit must be paid no later than 1 week after booking. The balance of your stay must be paid 1 month before your arrival. No reductions will be made for late arrivals or early departures.
Late payment will result in cancellation of the booking.
In accordance with article L. 121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, Internet users are informed that no right of withdrawal applies to the services offered on the www.chatonniere.com website.
Please note that reception is open from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 3pm to 7pm in low season and from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 3pm to 8pm in high season. All arrivals must be before 7pm or 8pm maximum, depending on the period, for all participants in the stay. No late arrivals at Camping La Chatonnière. A supplement of €15 per hour or part thereof will be charged for any arrival outside reception opening hours, to cover the costs of organising and mobilising the staff required to welcome guests outside normal hours. A modification fee will be applied for any change to the type of accommodation, package or composition of the holiday (people, animals, kits, options, etc.) occurring after the booking request has been validated.
A fee of €30/stay and €10/additional person will be added to the cost of the stay. No post ponement of a stay to a later season will be accepted.
Early departure, late arrival or cancellation will not give rise to any reimbursement by the campsite and payments will be retained as compensation. However, we strongly advise you to take out the cancellation insurance offered.
Customers are required to comply with the campsite's internal rules and regulations and must be insured for civil liability extended to the practice of camping-rental. For safety reasons, minors must be accompanied by a legal representative. Camping La Chatonnière reserves the right to cancel the booking, or to refuse access to the campsite, if it finds that the pitch or accommodation booked is intended to accommodate minors under the age of 18 or unaccompanied by their legal representatives.

PITCH RENTAL: Pitches are rented from 12 noon to 12 noon. If you leave after 12 noon, you will be charged an additional night's stay. The pitch chosen by the manager takes account of the customer's preferences as far as possible. These preferences must be specified at the time of booking but cannot under any circumstances be guaranteed or demanded. 

Pitch allocation: Each pitch is intended to accommodate a single camping unit, namely: 1 caravan with 1 vehicle or 1 motorhome/campervan or 1 tent with 1 vehicle.

Any additional unit (tent, caravan, van, motorhome or extra vehicle) requires the booking of a separate pitch, subject to availability at the campsite.

Only a small children’s annex tent may be permitted on an exceptional basis, subject to prior approval from the management.

Dogs are accepted provided they are kept on a lead inside the park, including the rented pitch, and are walked outside the park to relieve themselves. They are not allowed in the pool area, the children's play area or the children's bathroom and shower facilities. On arrival, you must present an up-to-date vaccination record and certificate. Category 1 and 2 dogs are strictly forbidden on site. Failure to declare a dog will result in a fine and the campsite reserves the right to exclude the customer or customers accompanied by a category 1 or 2 dog. Animals must not be left alone on the pitch.

ACCOMMODATION RENTAL: Accommodation is rented by the week or for short stays from 4pm to 10am.
The number of people per rental mentioned in our rates corresponds to the maximum occupancy authorised, taking into account the equipment available. It may not be exceeded for safety reasons. The price quoted is for the accommodation chosen, even if it is under-occupied. Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation.
You must provide your own linen: sheets, pillowcases, tea towels and hand towels.
A deposit of €250/rental must be paid on arrival by credit card. This deposit includes any missing or damaged equipment.
Parents with young children should ensure that the mattresses are protected. In the event of an accident, compensation for damage to equipment will be deducted from the deposit. The customer must leave the accommodation in perfect condition; a check will be carried out by our team after your departure.
PETS ARE ACCEPTED (1 only), (except category 1 and 2 dogs), in the accommodation with a supplement of 5€/6€ night and an additional deposit of 100€, kept on a lead at all times. Pets must not be left alone in the accommodation.
Change or cancellation of stay by the establishment before your arrival:
In the event of external events beyond our control, such as bad weather (storm or tempest), we may have to modify or cancel your stay. We will then offer you, subject to availability, a postponement of your stay to a later date.

If you refuse to move into your accommodation, we will only be able to offer you alternative accommodation subject to availability. This solution may give rise to a supplement, but no refund will be made.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE :
See the details of the contract which will be sent to you directly by Campez-couvert, Cabinet GritchenAffinity, if you take out this insurance.
During your stay, if one of the above events occurs and forces you to interrupt your stay: you will be refunded* the amount corresponding to the part of the stay not taken and already invoiced by the campsite. *excluding booking fees and insurance costs.
In the event of cancellation by you more than 30 days before the start of your stay, the amount of your deposit will be retained by the campsite. In the event of cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the holiday or early departure, the full price of the holiday will be payable. Camping La Chatonnière works closely with a holiday cancellation and interruption insurance policy. Our partner Gritchen Affinity undertakes to reimburse all or part of the stay to customers who have taken out a policy with them (subject to conditions). Cancellation: only cancellations made in writing will be taken into account.
EXCEPTIONAL BOOKING CONDITIONS LINKED TO THE PANDEMIC
For all pitch, campsite and rental bookings, the deposit will be refunded in full under the following conditions
up to 15 days before the date of arrival for stays in low season
up to 30 days before the date of arrival in high season (July and August) except for the amount of cancellation insurance if taken out:
Government decisions confirmed by decree on the period of stay requested by the customer
-National or regional confinement
Inter-regional travel ban (between customer's place of residence and destination)
- Administrative closure of our establishment

The cancellation insurance we offer includes the new health measures linked to the COVID.

VISITORS: €5 or €6/person. After being authorised by the manager or his representative, visitors may be admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them.
Visitors are not allowed access to the campsite's services and facilities.
All undeclared visitors will be excluded from the site and will be subject to a fixed fine.
Visitors' cars and pets are not allowed on the campsite (outside parking is compulsory).
IDENTITY OF PARTICIPANTS: The Surnames, Forenames and date of birth of participants must be duly completed when you place your order. We must be informed of any errors as soon as possible and before the start of your stay. An identity document will be requested from each participant on arrival. On arrival, if the information you have given us is incorrect, you will be charged a flat-rate fee of €30 in addition to the price difference, plus tourist tax if you change category.
Image rights
You expressly authorise Camping Chatonnière to use any photographs of you or your children that may be taken during your stay for the campsite's publicity purposes, without compensation.

The fact that a natural person (or legal entity) places an order on the www.chatonniere.com website implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which is expressly recognised by the Customer, who waives, in particular, the right to rely on any contradictory document that would be unenforceable against the Service Provider.
