Castelwood

The chalets have been designed and constructed in a New Zealand style. They have been built with Douglas fir and Scotch pine. The roofs are the same colour as the local slate tiles, blending well with the environment. They also play shadow games with the leaves of the trees. The outside of the chalets are the colour of patinated wood, which corresponds also to the local style.

Each chalet is roomy with more than 50m² (540 sq .ft) floor space, as well as a veranda of 15m² (160 sq. ft.).

The interior is in the Périgord style, with the roofbeams close together and with an elevated pitch to the roof. The latter allows for a bedroom for 2/4 people on the mezzanine floor. Downstairs there is an open style kitchen, a living room with a comfortable seating arrangement, a separate toilet, a bathroom with shower and washbasin and another bedroom for 2 people.

The veranda has a garden table and chairs, for your meals or drinks outside.

Our Hulotte chalet can accommodate 4 people maximum. In your Lodge, you will find an equipped kitchen open to the living room in a bright and welcoming atmosphere. A bedroom on the ground floor can be configured as 1 double bed or 2 single beds, at your convenience. In the mezzanine, you can also imagine the organization of your beds and take a seat in the small private lounge. A separate bathroom and toilet are located on the ground floor.

On your terrace, you can enjoy the hammock, have breakfast with the birds that happily come to perch on the balustrade, or relax in your SPA under the starry vault...

If you want to hear the sounds of the forest, the tawny owl, the bellowing of the deer, the singing of the birds then this chalet is for you... Too hot? air conditioning is there, too cold? heating is installed. A chic and bohemian countryside chalet for a peaceful stay…

Ce lodge a été imaginé pour vous apporter un maximum de confort dans une ambiance cocooning. Il représente l’esprit Castelwood : Une décoration soignée, un équipement complet, une grande terrasse et un jardin privatif de 70 m² avec un Spa privatif. Le lodge a une superficie d’environ 47 m² et dispose de 2 chambres. Les 2 chambres contiennent un lit double qui peut devenir 2 lits simples. La salle de bain / salle d’eau, très spacieuse, comprend une douche/baignoire, un lavabo et des toilettes. Une cuisine américaine tout équipée est ouverte sur le séjour. Une grande terrasse de plus de 20 m² vous permettra de profiter du grand air tout en savourant un petit-déjeuner ou un moment de lecture par exemple. La situation de ce lodge vous garantit aucun vis-à-vis pour votre tranquillité.

Our superior cabin, with a surface area of 62 m2, has the capacity to accommodate 4 people.

The first bedroom contains a double bed, which can become two single beds, depending on your needs. The second bedroom has two single bunk beds. The bathroom / shower room has a shower, sink and toilet.

A spiral staircase will take you to the living quarters. A barrier is installed to secure the steps of your little ones.

Upstairs, you will find an open kitchen with a large living / dining room. Many windows allow you to enjoy an almost 360-degree view of nature and bring in lots of light. A sliding door will give you direct access to the terrace which will host, we are sure, many drinks or breakfasts perched up in the trees.

Also upstairs, a separate toilet will provide more convenience.

You will find our superior cabin at the back of the domain, a bit away from our other rentals. This, in order to guarantee you the maximum rest...

Our safari tents, hidden in the forest, are on a platform about 3 meters above the ground. They combine tent canvas and wood. Thus, the exterior is entirely canvas, but the interior walls are made of wood. You therefore benefit from a real, solid separation between the rooms.

Our safari tents can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. In your rental, an equipped bathroom awaits you, as well as two bedrooms to spend peacefull nights: one bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two bunk beds (4 single beds). Also anjoy a real kitchen including a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave, a gas stove... Everything you need to cook during your stay.

You can relax on a comfortable sofa in the large living room in your safari tent and also, enjoy the outdoors with your 3 meter terrace, which will offer you the luxury of eating outside or simply gazing at the trees as far as the eye can see.
