This is a “Sites et Paysage” campsite, “strong on amenities, strong on nature and strong on family” so, for the very best holiday in the Vosges, head for Le Clos de la Chaume. Pascaline, Raphael and Michel will give you a warm welcome to their 3-star family campsite accredited by Camping Qualité and La Clef Verte (Green Key). Surrounded by forests, lakes, rivers and waterfalls, this is a site that will surprise you for the beauty of its natural environment. A small crystal clear stream winds through the site, much to the joy of children – and they love the outdoor pool too! If you’re fond of water sports, you’ll appreciate the nearby lakes in Gérardmer and Xonrupt Longemer only 10 kms away. And for hiking, family walks and mountain biking, Le Clos de la Chaume has long been a popular centre from which to explore the Vosges Regional Country Park, Alsace and Lorraine. There is a range of accommodation available – flat grassy pitches in the shade, some of them with direct access to the stream, or chalet and mobile home rental for 2 to 6 people with timber decks. At Le Clos de la Chaume, the Colin's  family offers the extra touches that make a holiday great – WiFi, bread and croissants, ice creams, drinks, pizzas, washing machines etc. Numerous activities on site: covered heated pool, volleyball court, boules pitch, table tennis, children’s playgrounds, games room, barefoot path etc. The village of Corcieux just 500 metres from the site has all the usual neighbourhood services and shops.

Tolle, ruhige Auszeit in der Natur

Positiv: Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt auf diesem kleinen, familiären Campingplatz. Wir waren mit drei Kindern (4 und 6 Jahre) im Zelt unterwegs und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Eigentümer hat uns den Stellplatz am Bach empfohlen – eine großartige Empfehlung! Die Kinder konnten dort stundenlang im flachen Bach spielen, ohne dass man sich ständig Sorgen machen musste. Die naturnahe Umgebung war einfach herrlich und für uns eine echte Auszeit vom Alltag. Auch der Pool war sehr sauber und hat den Kindern viel Freude bereitet. Die gesamte Anlage war gepflegt und sauber.

Positiv: Der Camping ist sehr schön gelegen und bietet für Kids etliche Möglichkeiten sich auszutoben. Besonders gut gefallen hat es uns, dass wenig Autos auf dem Camping hin und her fahren und daher konnten die Kleinen frei spielen und sich bewegen. Man hatte keine Angst, dass sie angefahren werden.

Verbesserungswürdig: Uns haben die Wasserhähne in der Dusche und den Abwaschmöglichkeiten sehr gestört. Die Dusche stellt nach 5-7sec automatisch ab. Man hat quasi immer eine Hand am Drücker, was total unangenehm war. Die Duschzeit wird damit aber eh nicht verkürzt, man ärgert sich einfach nur mehr. Auch beim Abwaschen stellt das Wasser nach paar wenigen Sekunden direkt ab. Um ein Abwaschbecken zu füllen muss man 10-15 mal drücken, was total unnötig und nervig ist. Das spart kein Wasser sondern strapaziert die nerven. Die Wege sollten in der Nacht leicht beleuchtet werden, sonst braucht man immer eigenes Licht.

Positiv: Der Empfang war herzlich-ein nettes Willkommen. Wir reisten mit Camper an und hatten zusätzlich einen Bungalow gemietet. Die Plätze lagen sich gegenüber, sodass kleine und große Leute kurze Wege hatten. Hecken trennen die Campsites und alles ist gut gepflegt. bei Regen „rettete“ uns der Pool, denn die Kinder haben immer Lust sich zu bewegen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und ausreichend vorhanden.

Verbesserungswürdig: Das wäre jetzt Haarspalterei.

Positiv: Unser Mobilhome war sehr gut eingerichtet, wir waren eine größere Gruppe (11) und konnten uns auch bequem bei uns auf der Terasse treffen, um gemeinsam zu frühstücken. Das Doppelbett ist nicht das größte, aber die Matratze war top. Die Gegeng lud zum Wandern ein, die Kids waren aus dem Jakuzzi kaum herauszubekommen und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub. Die An und Abmeldung verlief entspannt und problemlos.

Verbesserungswürdig: Die Grundreinigung könnte etwas verbessert werden.

Positiv: Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage auf dem Campingplatz. Die Besitzer sind super nett und helfen immer weiter. Der Platz ist sehr schön, naturnah und abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Der Bach, der Wald, die Spielmöglichkeiten, das Schwimmbad- alles schön angelegt. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.
