BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following general conditions carefully. These conditions govern the sale of holiday stays and are valid at the time the booking is made. By booking a stay, you fully accept our terms and conditions.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
Your pitch or accommodation booking will only become effective after acceptance by Les Foulons Campsite and upon receipt of the required deposit.
Bookings are only binding on the campsite once accepted. The campsite reserves the right to accept or refuse any booking depending on availability and, more generally, on any circumstances that may affect the execution of the booking. The campsite offers family-oriented holidays in the traditional sense, and the accommodations are specially designed for this purpose. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any booking that conflicts with this principle or attempts to circumvent it.
The booking of a camping pitch or rental accommodation is strictly personal. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your booking without the campsite’s prior consent.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
CAMPING PITCHES
The basic package includes a pitch for a tent, caravan, or motorhome for 1 or 2 people, access to sanitary facilities, and reception facilities.
RENTAL ACCOMMODATION
Rental accommodations are fully equipped. The basic package accommodates from 4 to 6 people depending on the accommodation type.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to groups or families arriving with a number of participants exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation.
Pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.) are strictly prohibited in rental accommodations.
Please remember to bring your own sheets, fitted sheets, and pillowcases.
BOOKING FEES
The campsite charges a booking fee of:
€20 per stay for rental accommodations.
€10 per stay for camping pitches.
PRICES AND TOURIST TAX
Prices shown are valid for the current year. They correspond to one night and are expressed in euros, including VAT.
The tourist tax is €0.50 per night per person aged 18 and over.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the booked services must be paid at the time of booking.
The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay.
For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.
YOUR STAY
Arrival
Arrival days vary depending on the period (please contact the campsite directly).
Camping Pitches
Check-in from 3:00 p.m.
Electrical hook-ups must be connected using cables and plugs that comply with current regulations.
Please bring a 50-metre cable and a European adapter.
Rental Accommodation
Check-in from 4:00 p.m., after the inventory inspection has been completed.
A security deposit of €300 will be required upon key collection.
During Your Stay
Campers are responsible for their own insurance coverage. The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, or incidents falling under the camper’s civil liability.
All guests must comply with the campsite’s internal regulations.
The registered guest is responsible for any disturbances or nuisances caused by persons staying with them or visiting them.
Visitors
For safety reasons, visitors must register at reception upon arrival before visiting a resident. A wristband will be issued to them.
Access to the swimming pool area is strictly prohibited to all visitors.
Management reserves the right to deny access to any unregistered persons.
Additional Charges
Any undeclared extras (additional person, dog, etc.) discovered during a stay inspection will be charged from the guest’s arrival date.
Departure
Camping Pitches
Departure must take place no later than 12:00 noon.
Any pitch not vacated by 12:00 noon will automatically incur an additional night's charge.
Rental Accommodation
On the departure date stated in your contract, accommodation must be vacated before 10:00 a.m.
Accommodation must be returned in a perfectly clean condition.
The inventory will be checked, and any broken or damaged items will be charged to the guest, as well as any necessary restoration work.
The security deposit will be refunded at the end of the stay after deduction of any damages identified during the departure inspection.
Retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation if repair costs exceed the deposit amount.
If departure takes place outside reception opening hours and without inspection by our staff, a cleaning fee of €45 will be charged.
If accommodation has not been cleaned before departure, a minimum cleaning fee of €55 including VAT will be charged.
Any late departure will be charged an additional day at the current nightly rate.
PETS
Pets are prohibited in rental accommodations but are accepted on the campsite (excluding Category I and II dogs) for an additional fee payable at the time of booking.
Pets must be kept on a leash and are not allowed near the swimming pool or playground.
Vaccination records must be up to date.
CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS
Modification of Your Booking
Changes to your booking may be made free of charge, subject to availability.
If no notification is received regarding a delayed arrival, the accommodation may be offered for resale 24 hours after the scheduled arrival date, and your booking rights will be forfeited.
Unused Services
Any interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival or early departure) due to the guest’s actions will not be eligible for a refund.
Cancellation by the Campsite
In the event of cancellation by the campsite, except in cases of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded.
However, such cancellation will not entitle the guest to any compensation.
Cancellation by the Camper
Cancellation and interruption insurance is available as an optional extra and must be paid at the same time as the deposit.
No refund will be granted without cancellation insurance.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt (recorded delivery) to Domaine de Gil.
If cancellation occurs:
More than 30 days before arrival: the deposit will be retained as compensation.
Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the stay amount will be due and no refund will be granted.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Cancellation insurance can only be purchased when the initial booking request is made.
The client undertakes to read and accept the insurance terms and conditions provided at the time of booking.
The cancellation insurance conditions are available at any time on our website.
LIABILITY OF THE CONTRACTING GUEST
The contracting guest (the person named on the booking form) undertakes to use, and ensure that accompanying persons use, all campsite facilities and equipment appropriately and for their intended purpose.
The guest agrees to leave the accommodation or pitch in good condition at the end of the stay.
Any damage, loss, or destruction of furniture, equipment, mobile homes, or public buildings on the campsite will automatically engage the liability of the responsible person.
The contracting guest is personally responsible for all damage, loss, disturbances, or nuisances caused by accompanying persons or visitors.
The guest acknowledges having read the campsite rules and undertakes to comply with them and ensure compliance by accompanying persons and visitors.
If a guest disturbs other guests or damages common facilities, the campsite reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately without compensation and without prejudice to any claims for damages.
The same applies in cases of excessive occupancy exceeding the accommodation's maximum capacity.
The guest certifies that they hold valid public liability insurance covering damage to rented or entrusted property and may be required to provide proof.
CAMPSITE LIABILITY
The campsite is under no obligation to safeguard personal belongings or valuables within its grounds.
Beyond its legal obligations, the campsite shall not be held liable for:
Theft, loss, damage, or deterioration of personal belongings.
Failure or shutdown of technical equipment or facilities due to force majeure.
Temporary restrictions imposed by management on access to facilities, including the swimming pool, for safety or maintenance reasons.
Damage caused to or suffered by guest vehicles circulating or parked within the campsite.
Changes to the entertainment programme or activities offered.
During the low season, and depending on attendance levels, the campsite reserves the right to modify or suspend certain facilities, services, or activities.
Guests booking during the low season are advised to contact the campsite beforehand for confirmation.
RIGHT TO IMAGE
During your stay, photographs may be taken and used in our publications and promotional materials without time limitation.
If you do not consent, you must notify the campsite by registered letter before your arrival.
PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act (Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978), guests are informed that personal data collected during the booking process is necessary for the execution of the booking.

MEDIATION
In accordance with the French Consumer Code regarding consumer dispute mediation, guests may use, free of charge, the mediation service offered by Camping Les Foulons, operated by SARL Les Rives du Doux.

In the event of a dispute, and after contacting the campsite’s customer service department, any customer may refer the matter to the consumer mediator within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to the campsite operator.
