Fantastic camper. Really happy that we chose this for our first family trip staying in a vehicle. It had everything we needed for our family of 4 (children 10 & 3). We had a great time exploring and will be booking another trip like this in the future. August 2025

Simon was very friendly and helpful in explaining how to use the campervan (Shamus), as it was our first camping tour. We really enjoyed our holiday with the campervan. Well maintained and clean, with main amenities available inside and comes with an extra camping tent, awning, table and chairs. Strongly recommend for a family of four. August 2025

Simon's campervan is lovely and in great condition. The handover was effortless, Simon showed us how everything worked and there was space for us to leave our car for the 4 nights we hired it for. It was a really smooth drive. We went to a festival, Latitude, in it and it was perfect. We had everything we needed, table, chairs and awning, we used the fridge and hob for some camping breakfasts and much needed coffee. The bed was really comfy too, slept well even though we were in a field. Definitely a good hire. Juli 2025

We had an excellent time away in Simon's VW campervan. Simon keeps Shamus in great working order so no worries about reliabilty. Drives like a car! We found the bed Comfortable to sleep in. We were off grid for a week at Glastonbury, the sun was out and allowed the solar panel to keep the fridge and lights working during this time, gas hobs were what we needed for cooking. We would highly recommend. Juli 2025

Simon's campervan Seamus is a dream to drive. It's really well equipped and well maintained. It's got everything you need and more than you'd expect. Plus Simon is an excellent host! It was my first time hiring a campervan. Simon took me through everything I needed to know, which made the experience so much easier! I would highly recommend it for any future hires! September 2024

We had a fantastic experience with the camper from Simon. The vehicle was a great drive, gave 40+ mpg, comfortable and provides all the facilities ( minus loo ) for a short or long break. The raised roof is a very useful feature making the inside a walkable space and even extra sleeping accomodation at a push. All the features of the camper were fully explained by Simon and even though this was our first time out we found it all quite easy. Thank you Simon for a great holiday ! Juli 2024

We loved staying in Simon’s campervan. It was our first road trip but we came back wanting to definitely do it again. We set off to Cornwall and booked 2 nights at Treen campsite - beautiful! Simon’s campervan had everything we needed and we’ll definitely be booking it again. Juni 2024

This was our first time renting a campervan through goboony and the whole experience was excellent. Simon did a very thorough handover and Shamus is an extremely well equipped and well looked after van. We took our 2 children to the Isle of Wight for 4 nights and the combo of the van and tent that Simon supplied meant that we had ample space to enjoy our adventure. The kids absolutely loved it and want to know when we're going again! Having done loads of research into the possibility of buying a campervan, it was really clear to me that Simon takes great pride in both the cleanliness and functionality of Shamus. It was the perfect way for us all to experience VW camping! Honestly couldn't recommend any more highly! Juni 2024

The van was in superb shape. Very clean with everything you could need. Simon keeps it in absolutely mint condition. We went through mountains, over 5,000ft, barrow passes, steep climbs as well as to the beach. It handled great. We did not hookup or anything, just off the solar. Would definitely recommend. Simon's camper is a delight to spend a holiday in. The van is in perfect condition, drives well and has all the equipment you could need. Simon was very responsive to all my questions and really helpful in explaining everything when we picked up the van. We hope to rent Shamus out again at some point in the future. Thanks! Juni 2023

We enjoyed a great week in Shamus - plenty of space for living, sleeping and all of our luggage. Super comfortable to drive both short and long distances. Simon was a fantastic host, always on hand to help and ever accommodating when we asked to stay an extra night at the last minute! Couldn't recommend more highly. Juli 2021
