Hallo, ich bin Lorna!

Dunfermline, Vereinigtes Königreich – Mitglied seit August 2026

Wir lieben es, die Natur zu genießen und unsere wunderschöne Landschaft zu erkunden. Besonders gerne reisen wir nach Aviemore, Elie, St. Andrews und North Uist. Überall dort, wo wir lange Spaziergänge mit dem Hund unternehmen, Mountainbike fahren, snowboarden oder Wassersport treiben können! Wir lieben die Freiheit, die uns unser Wohnmobil bietet – es ist wie ein zweites Zuhause.

Sie ist nach Sollas benannt, dem Ort auf North Uist, den wir seit Jahrzehnten regelmäßig besuchen. Das gälische Wort bedeutet Trost, Freude, Zufriedenheit ❤️. Es passt perfekt, da wir dort Familie besuchen und wunderschöne Reisen mit unseren Lieben unternommen haben – sowohl mit denen aus der Vergangenheit als auch mit denen der Gegenwart. Sollas ist Teil unserer neuen Abenteuer mit der nächsten Generation. Wir hoffen, dass auch Sie mit ihr schöne Familienerinnerungen sammeln werden.

Just got back from a fantastic trip to the Scottish highlands. What a place and it was made even better being in Steve and Lorna’s motorhome. A lovely couple and a fantastic motorhome, that’s so well configured inside. It had everything you could need for the perfect trip. Thank you again and we wouldn’t hesitate hiring it again. We hired this campervan for our family trip to the Isle of Skye and the NC500, travelling with our 2-year-old son, and it was the perfect choice. The van is beautifully maintained in every area, spotlessly clean, and has everything a family needs. It made travelling with a little one so easy and comfortable. The van is superb to drive. It's smooth and comfortable on long journeys, and it handled the narrow Highland and single-track roads with ease, which is exactly what you need for Skye and the NC500. It's also great for everyday road driving. Honestly, it's one of the best vans for a Scottish road trip. Lorna and Steve were kind, helpful and responsive from start to finish, and they were very understanding when we had a small mishap with the hob lid. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. We had an amazing holiday and made memories we'll never forget. We would happily hire this van again and recommend it to anyone, especially families.
