We hired 'Effie,' a beautifully converted camper van, for a mini break with our two small dogs and had an amazing time. Fiona, the owner, was fantastic—she even let us leave our car at her place while we continued our Scottish road trip. The van was a pleasure to drive and handle, and the living space was top-notch, complete with running hot and cold water, a shower, toilet, a ready-made bed, a cozy living area, and a kitchenette. It truly felt like a home away from home. Although it was a short trip, we camped at some breathtaking spots along the NC500, with most nights spent off-grid and just one at a campsite. Overall, it was a brilliant experience with a superb van conversion. Thanks again, Fiona! Oktober 2024

Nous avons eu une excellente expérience avec le van Effie qui est très bien aménagé et très confortable. Fiona est très sympathique, elle eu la gentillesse de nous amener le van directement à l'aéroport d'Inverness ce qui était très pratique. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 5 jours dans les magnifiques paysages des Highlands, en particulier l'île de Skye. Nous espérons pouvoir retourner en Ecosse et nous n'hésiterons pas à louer de nouveau Effie pour de nouvelles aventures ! Sylvie et Lionel Oktober 2024

FANTASTIC Fiona's campervan "Big Ed" is perfect for 2, very easy to drive, plenty of storage space in the cab area and in rear of vehicle for all your luggage, super comfortable bed with reading lights and usb, cooking facilities work well and there's a good size fridge, heater works extremely well and it's cosy in minutes. The van was spotlessly clean Inc shower unit and toilet. Fiona is super friendly and was very quick to respond and very helpful and flexible with arriving and departing arrangements. Highly recommend Fionas camper as we used it for 10 days on the NC500 and enjoyed every moment of our adventure in a very suitable vehicle. You will not be disappointed in choosing Fiona's campervan. Superbe expérience. L’utilisation du camping car de Fiona Fut une incroyable d'expérience. Tout d’abord elle nous a accueilli à l’aéroport. Nous avons fait la prise en main, et elle nous a donné plein de conseils utiles et de bonnes adresses. Ce fut vraiment une bonne expérience pour notre petit séjour ( 4 nuits) nous permettant de voir pas mal de choses pour découvrir ce magnifique pays. Nous avons longer le Loch Ness fait le tour de l’île de Skye et revenu par GlenFinnan . Le camping-car était facile d’utilisation et très confortable. Notamment la literie. Nous avons parfaitement bien dormi. Nous recommandons tout à fait et ne manquerons pas nous-mêmes de repasser par Fiona, si nous avons la chance de revenir dans le coin. September 2024

We rented Effie for just under a week and wow what a trip. This motorhome was perfect, faultless. it was extremely comfortable and well equipped. its partly what made our trip!! Fiona was amazing, so helpful with both recommendations and the collection drop off, of the van. Fiona met us at the airport on collection then dropped up back once we had finished. We will 100% be renting from Fiona again. September 2024

We had a wonderful experience exploring the isle of skye on big Ed. The car handled the mountainous terrain perfectly well and the interior has been built to be very practical. Brilliant experience in Big-Ed.! Fiona was very helpful before & after the use of the Campervan with very good & clear information & correspondence. Our long weekend/Highlands wedding adventure was amazing & the van topped off the fun time & experience. We would definitely recommend it & also rent it out again in the future.!
