We had a nice few days in the van. The kitchen was just as described, although the fridge is a camping-style one and not suitable for storing food for several days. The van was a bit old and worn, but it was good enough for what we needed. The low rating is due to the lack of information and the unpleasant attitude from Jo during check-in. He kept saying everything was explained in the video, but he could have given us the option to pay for unlimited mileage, and he didn’t. And yes, everything is described in the app, but a little more kindness and clarity would be appreciated — especially when you're coming from another country and don’t fully understand the language. Les photos ne reflètent pas l’état actuel du van, carrosserie abîmée, phare recollé au scotch et l’autre phare ne fonctionnait pas, un pare choc abîmé, les essuies glace très fatigués, une consommation excessive et un état de propreté intérieur et extérieur laissant vraiment à désirer. Et un accueil plus que sommaire de Jo. Malgré cela nous n’avons pas eu de problème et le road trip c’est bien déroulé. La taille du dougy était bien adapté aux routes et à notre attente. The van was fine for the trip, but the communication with the company was terrible. The first messages on the app were fine, but then they started communicating by whatsapp and it felt like we were... inconvenient (even though we were on time for the pickup, everything had been discussed before and we didn't ask for anything else or any changes). It was ok, people can seem harsh by message. We agreed a specific time for the pickup, to "make sure there was someone there" at the delivery, but when we arrived we got a message telling us the person coming was late due to traffic -no problem, we don't mind waiting for a while. And then they started asking us to complete the pickup online, which included paying some stuff, and telling us we didn't need to follow the procedure goboony asks for: so I had to pay them through a link they sent, without having signed nothing, and with no evidence for nothing. It felt sketchy. I asked when the person coming to do the pickup was expected to arrive and their response was "they are not coming" (but they only told me when I asked), and started pressuring me into paying before their closing time (we had agreed on a pickup time on the afternoon), or they wouldn't give us the van. Everything felt so shady, (even the people talking to us clearly being foreigners too by the way they talked) we thought we were being scammed. But we had little choice, since we came from abroad and it was supposed to be our home for the following days... Luckily I thought to check the van and through the window I saw it was open and the keys on the seat- so I paid and we completed the process (but it certainly felt like no one had been on their way and stuck in traffic at any moment, and this was planned). We didn't need to communicate with them again until we gave the van back. Then, also, we were told to not expect anybody, but some people finally came. The man in charge was certainly rude, but the process was completed without incident. At the end, the trip was fine, and the van was as promised, but the communication was SO aggressive and rough, we felt terrible during the whole process -we were foreigners, stuck in a place we didn't know and with no much choice... we had a really bad time. It'd be nice if they worked on that aspect, that would greatly improve the experience.Diesen Text in Deutsch anzeigen

It was a poor experience from the beginning. The manager of the company wanted to refuse us as too many people, no matter we wrote prior and the car had the needed seats, claiming Goboony is “just a platform” and no having time to read messages. After much trouble we finally got the car. We got none introduction to the car - the manager claimed to have an appointment -, and were referred to a video instead. The car was in very poor condition, the rooftop tent molding, the whole interior smelly and the equipment dirty. Driving felt very unsafe and every day we found new things broken. Return was a horrible experience of being asked to clean the already clean and kept waiting. We cannot at all recommend this campervan or the company!Diesen Text in Deutsch anzeigen

⚠️Importante⚠️ Tornerei in Scozia, ma sicuramente non con questo furgone: il volante era completamente storto, il che non aiuta certo chi deve imparare a guidare a sinistra; era sporco (per fortuna ho portato le mie pentole da casa, perché quelle fornite erano sporche); le sue condizioni non corrispondevano alle foto (era graffiato e la parte dove si dovrebbe posizionare il cric per cambiare la ruota era staccata, rendendo complicato montare la ruota di scorta in caso di necessità). Il rapporto qualità-prezzo non vale assolutamente la pena. L'uomo che ci ha noleggiato il furgone ci ha semplicemente detto di guardare un video e, al ritorno, è stato maleducato, dicendo che avevamo sporcato delle pentole (che non abbiamo mai usato) e che dovevamo lavarle (vi ricordo che le spese di pulizia sono incluse e non sono economiche). Helaas was Jo niet erg klantvriendelijk bij de overdracht en al helemaal niet bij en na de drop off. Hij was erg kortaf en wantrouwend. Wij hebben een rondreis met ons gezin gemaakt door Schotland. Mijn man en ik zijn met ons eigen camperbusje naar Schotland gereden, maar omdat die niet voor 4 mensen geschikt is, hadden we een camionette bij Jo gehuurd en zijn de kinderen (18 en 21) met de trein naar Edinburgh gekomen. Hoewel ik dit bij de boeking al had gecommuniceerd, bleef Jo zowel bij de overdracht als de dropoff hier maar op doorvragen en leek hij ons niet te geloven. Over de camionette waren we ook niet erg tevreden. Zowel de camionette als het keukengerei en het servies waren bij de overdracht matig schoon tot vies, de gordijntjes stonken en de kussens, die als matras dienden waren erg oncomfortabel. Bovendien was een van de zijdeuren van de camionette kapot, zat er speling in het stuur en was er een voorlamp kapot. Ook na de dropoff bleef Jo ons stalken met mailtjes over hoe het nu zat. We kwamen bij de dropoff namelijk met een gehuurde auto, omdat onze eigen campervan het had begeven. Maar ook dat leek hij niet te willen geloven. Na alle stress, die we rondom de eigen campervan al hadden gehad, was dit niet echt een fijne afsluiting van onze vakantie.
