Hallo, wir sind Chris & Julia!

STOURBRIDGE, Vereinigtes Königreich – Mitglied seit Juli 2020

Wir sind ein junges (ish!) Paar, das nichts mehr liebt als zu reisen, zu reisen, zu reisen !! Wir waren auf der ganzen Welt, haben einige sensationelle Sehenswürdigkeiten gesehen und viele unvergessliche Erinnerungen geweckt, aber heutzutage möchten wir, dass unsere Reise in Großbritannien stattfindet, und unsere kleine Flotte von VW-Campern bietet die perfekte Gelegenheit, dies zu tun. Wir lieben besonders die schottischen Highlands und Inseln. Wir haben derzeit 4 Camper, Stanley, Peggy, Alfie und Lily, jede mit ihrer eigenen Persönlichkeit und ihren eigenen Macken - sie sind genau wie unsere Babys!

Diese Babys wurden für den Gebrauch gemacht, deshalb haben wir beschlossen, sie zu vermieten, damit sie ihr eigenes bestes Leben führen und anderen Menschen helfen können, genau das zu tun! Wir haben so viele unserer eigenen Abenteuer mit ihnen erlebt und sie haben uns nie im Stich gelassen. Ein weiterer großartiger Aspekt beim Reisen in einem Retro-VW-Wohnmobil ist, dass Sie immer Freunde zu finden scheinen, egal wohin Sie gehen. Wenn Sie in einem dieser Fahrzeuge fahren, fühlen Sie sich wie ein Rockstar - alle lächeln, winken, betätigen ihre Hupe und blinken mit ihren Lichtern auf Sie! Sie bringen wirklich überall Freude.

Absolutely beautiful little van. Having a little knowledge on how to handle these classics will help get the most out of this cheeky chap. Didn’t let me down once, was very clean and comfortable, came with everything I needed to make some food on the road. Chris was very good at getting back to me and helped me out with what I needed. We had the pleasure to experience Englands beautiful and scenic south coast with Peggy - the Bonny bright yellow campervan. She is fully equipped with everything you need for the perfect trip. Being a retro VW campervan it really brings you down to your roots and to experience the slow relaxing rural life. The public smile and wave while driving through villages with the occasional friendly beep from cars and other campervans on the road. On top of this wonderful get away, Chris and Julia are so friendly making sure you feel secure when setting off and were absolutely amazing dealing with any enquires we had during the trip. We would love to plan a trip away in Peggy again as there are so many more beautiful places to visit. Thank you Chris and Julia for this amazing experience. I’m sure we will see you again soon. Me and my partner had a lovely time 3 nights in this campervan. Chris and Julia are so nice and helpful - they provide you with EVERYTHING you would need for the trip and even a hamper with essentials such as bread, milk, butter, tea & coffee and Cava! Bedding not included due to COVID so don’t forget blankets/duvet Chris stayed in touch with us during our trip and was easy to contact If we had any questions. We had never driven a campervan before (or a left hand drive) so we were a bit sceptical about driving this but it was surprisingly easy to get used to, and really fun to drive! September 2020

I am a newbie to the campervan scene, and admit I was feeling quite anxious about being caretaker of the beautiful Lily! The first few miles were to say the least hair raising, a situation not improved by the thunderstorm that arrived as I turned the engine on! Left hand drive, old gearing, hand brake sticking out of the dashboard and the turning circle of an artic lorry certainly took some getting used to - but once on the open road I think we all agreed that there really is nothing better than tootling along at 40 miles an hour, a completely different - and very relaxing driving experience. With regards the interior Chris and Julia really have thought of everything- the van is extremely well equipped and we had a lot of fun cooking and using the van as our home. There was space for myself and 2 adult children, my 6ft 4 son struggled a bit - but the awning was perfect for him to sleep in. It even survived a HUGE thunderstorm with high winds and torrential rain. He was completely dry all night. Needless to say my daughter and I were very cosy in the van...... So in summary, a great experience- and one we fully intend to repeat. But I still get butterflies thinking of those first few moments....... August 2020

Many thanks to Chris and Julia for letting us have their lovely VW Camper. We enjoyed driving around Snowdonia in her. She had everything we needed for the trip including a pack of Uno in the glovebox for a rainy day. The goody basket was also much appreciated. We would recommend hiring from Chris and Julia. 5 stars!!! August 2020
