Positiv: Excellent camp site - perfect facilities, always clean, staff deserve special mention- I’ve never stayed anywhere where the staff were so universally friendly, helpful and good at their jobs. Lots to do without being overwhelming. Despite it being a large site it never felt too busy or crowded. Lots of covered areas, for bad weather or in our case very hot weather. Can’t fault it.

Positiv: We had a wonderful holiday at this campsite. Our children are both under 10 and they were well catered for. The swimming pool was great and it is an excellent location for some of the local attractions. I recommend puy du fou and the grand défi (which is pretty much next door). Reception staff really approachable and friendly. Everything was very clean. We booked directly with the campsite which was easy.

Positiv: The campsite setting is beautiful. We stayed on a premium camping pitch and the site was fantastic - large hedges separating each pitch to provide privacy. The restaurant was very impressive - delicious food of a high standard, take-away options plentiful too. The catering staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was nice to relax in the courtyard and enjoy a drink in evenings whilst the kids can play nearby.

Verbesserungswürdig: The toilet/shower facilities were often very dirty (daily). Appreciate that we stayed during peak holiday season, however we stayed at other campsites during this period and the facilities on those (similar) sites were significantly cleaner. The uncovered swimming pool was also very crowded most of the time.

Positiv: Camping parfait pour une famille avec des enfants (4 et 8 ans). Beaucoup d'activités, le lagon est idéal pour les jeunes enfants. Chalet entouré d'arbres... génial.

Verbesserungswürdig: Les chèques vacances ne sont plus acceptés, dommage nous aurions fait plus d'activités payante et restaurant.

Positiv: Nette en gezellige camping in de natuur. Paardrijden en vissen was leuk, net zwembad.

Verbesserungswürdig: Go carts en trampoline zijn weinig open en dan ook nog betalend, zou gewoon altijd gratis ter beschikking moeten zijn voor de kinderen gezien de prijs die je betaalt voor je verblijf. Armbandjes die verplicht te dragen zijn zitten niet goed door het harde plastic schijfje van her cashless systeem, wat wij niet gebruikten. Er zouden meer vuilbakken om re recyclen her en der op de camping mogen staan. Het is een camping in Frankrijk, niet alle animatie moet aangepast worden aan Engelsen of Ieren.

Positiv: Le lodge super agréable, au calme, très bien aménagé. Les activités proposées, le cadre magnifique.

Positiv: Again another fantastic holiday at La Garangeoire. This is our 7th year and it really is like home from home for us. Our three children aged 13, 8 and 11 all love being at La Garangeoire. This year the night walk was a massive hit and of course the night swim! Anne and Eric and all their staff continously go above and beyond to make La Garangeoire as special as it is. We are looking forward to returning again next year.

Positiv: Beautiful location, very well-run by hard-working family Good facilities, good activities

Verbesserungswürdig: The new Safari Village is gnerally beautifully done. However the usability of the deck space is pretty comprimised by the heavy wooden furniture - particularly the 'armchairs'. It would be good to have an outdoor table and three stool at the bar rather than 2. I would re-consider the 'armchairs' completely - they have a very large footprint [ on quite a compact deck ] and are very heavy to move even for an adult male.

Positiv: We have just had the most amazing 5 days stay here, everything was perfect! The campsite is so lovely and clean, the staff are friendly, the pools are great, and its a great place for kids! Our 3 year old loved it too, it was so lovely waking up to the sound of the birds singing, we will definitely be returning next year.

Verbesserungswürdig: Perhaps slightly more choices of food at the restaurant, but this is not a deal breaker for us.
