Positiv: We had a great pitch on the side of the river which was well worth paying a small supplement for. No real shop in the village so arrive with provisions for your stay. But in the heart of glorious villages. Restaurants and vineyards

Positiv: Wonderful location with plenty to see & discover. Everywhere we visited was reasonably priced. Campsite kept to a very high standard. Toilets / showers etc, always clean. The pitch we had was a very generous size & private enough.

Verbesserungswürdig: Tiny niggle. Having read a sign on the door of the restaurant / bar closing at 10, my daughter & I turned up around 9.15 for food. By the staff left in there, we were told food had finished around 8.30 & usually did. I pointed out the sign on the door to be met with bewilderment. The sign was still there days later. The menu itself seemed very unappetising as though no one could be bothered. Meat with house sauce was one option ! Fortunately, plenty of places close by for us to dine, which we did...
