Positiv: The site was very clean and well maintained. We also liked being so close to the village and many options for scenic walks and outings. Staff were very friendly.

Verbesserungswürdig: As we were there early in the season the pool and restaurant weren’t open which we hadn’t realised until we arrived.

Verbesserungswürdig: Water in the shower took a long time to heat up.

Positiv: Super campsite with a lot of detail thought about to make it a great place for camping.

Verbesserungswürdig: Nothing I can think of. Unless you can move the Alps and herds of wildebeest strolling across the fields into the scenery….

Positiv: The site is situated on the river with lovely views especially riverside pitches. Large, level pitches with easy access to the town. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Verbesserungswürdig: Toilet block is due an upgrade

Positiv: We love it here and have been many times, it never fails to please. Immaculate site, full of mature trees, good sized pitches (ours right next to the Loire), with great facilities - spotless shower block/loos with nearby composting and waste facilities, laundry, wifi, chickens and herbs!, great nearby local shops, very interesting place and handy for big towns like Saumur and Chinon.
