Positiv: What a great site! Lovely chateau set in extensive grounds with the pitches grouped into small ‘zones’ each offering something different. Owners were so helpful and delightfully happy and friendly.

Positiv: Great location to stop on the way down and back up through France with the motorhome. Restaurant for evening meal. A nice estate lake to fish for carp and catfish and a lovely pool. Always a nice clientele too which the price probably helps to filter. and they do the fab classic car rally. Nice staff and charming boss . Plus dog friendly location

Positiv: A return visit to Chanteloup as a stop off for travelling south. This time we made it a 3 night stay as the whole site and atmosphere is truly magical. Friendly, relaxed, authentic, all set in the grounds of a lovely chateau. Worth far more than a stop-off

Positiv: The chateau, pitches, set-up, events and staff were perfect. The visiting baker was amazing.

Verbesserungswürdig: Nearby campers playing INCREDIBLY loud base music from their tents/lodges until 2/3/4am meant we had no sleep for 2 nights. Perhaps the site could say no music and keep noise down after 11pm please?

Positiv: Everything was great. Friendly staff, great place showers and toilets were very reasonable considering it was the Le Mans weekend

Positiv: Wij hebben enorm genoten van het lieve personeel wat vanaf het eerste moment voor ons klaarstond. De hond krijgt een warm welkom en er is genoeg te doen. We hebben heerlijk kunnen zwemmen, poolen en gewandeld. Ook het stadje Le Mans is super aan te rijden. De douches zijn ook super!

Verbesserungswürdig: De verlichting bij de douches vallen snel weer uit. Dus als je daarna aan het opmaken bent, moet je even heen en weer rennen om ze aan te laten gaan.

Verbesserungswürdig: Bit tricky to find waste disposal point

Positiv: De uitstraling van de camping is heel fijn. Ruim, chique, Franse vibe die je van een camping hoopt. Wij stonden op de XL plekken, heerlijk groot en genoeg schaduw. Ook rustig 's avonds en 's nachts.

Verbesserungswürdig: GEEN OPBLAASBARE DINGEN IN HET ZWEMBAD TOESTAAN!Zou een idee kunnen zijn om dat bij de inschrijving te vermelden. Het is een zwembad zonder toezicht, zoals ook staat aangegeven. Dat betekent dat ouders zelf verantwoordelijk zijn, maar die blazen doodleuk grote krokodillen, flamingo's, eenhoorns op voor hun 'prinsjes en prinsesjes'. Je moest bijna zeggen 'vinden jullie het goed als ik hier ook zwem!?' Soms even een bezoekje van de leiding van de camping om mensen aan te spreken, helpt. Ook minderjarige kinderen die zonder ouders behoorlijk aan het klieren waren konden ongestoord hun gang gaan!
