Positiv: Have stayed here since the late 80's for the 24Hrs and must say the site was looking very good with the changes and ongoing work that has been undertaken. Typical Le Mans weekend although did seem less variety of cars and seemingly down on numbers. Baker, fresh croissant and bread every morning..

Verbesserungswürdig: Despite the location, site, hospitality etc. it is an expensive site, even more so as prices are increased somewhat for the Le Mans 'weekend'. Closing restaurant on Sunday for a special site meal, couldn't get alternative all be it Pizza. Shop is very small. Restaurant, 'achilles heel'. Efforts to improve seating area are good but food leaves a lot to be desired, Pizzas OK. 'Special 'Pig' meal extremely expensive for what was served, to be told, only two pieces of cheese! Save your money. Paying for poor WiFi on top.

Positiv: We hav ebeen staying at Chanteloup for 20 years for the Le Mans 24H weekend, it never fails to deliver. Great pitch, good size, decent food and facilities. Hot showers!

Positiv: Atmosphere and friendliness by staff. Environment of the Chateau grounds. Large screen TV. The Le Mans theme carried through. Garden Party amazing. And provision of the hog roast.

Verbesserungswürdig: Nearer toilet facilities... and one in the Chateau area near the bar....Some quick alternative to pizzas. And there was no provision for vegetarian on hog roast night. How about a free to you mobile catering company would help to take stress off yourselves and provide more alternatives. Live band would do better if it played covers as Brits love singing and dancing along to their favourite band music. Alternative TV for watching other sporting type activities.

Positiv: Another fantastic stay at the Chateau the owners and staff go above & beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Facilities and pitches very high quality.

Positiv: Very welcoming, fantastic facilities. Food in the restaurant & takeaway much better than last year. The pitches are great which are well maintained and spacious.

Verbesserungswürdig: The children’s play area was getting over grown and some of the equipment could not be used.

Positiv: Voor het tweede jaar overnacht op deze camping. Prima voorzieningen, vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Veel kampeerders uit de UK en Nederland die naar de race gaan. En natuurlijk de vrijdagavondshow van bijzondere voertuigen van kampeerders. Met het (koude) buffet erachteraan. Erg gezellig.

Positiv: The welcome from Valerie and the Dream Team as always. The grounds and setting off the site work well with lots of green space. The overall facilities including things like fridge hire, electricity points make the stay that little bit better. The sharper, shorter format of the Friday party/parade works well.

Verbesserungswürdig: Changing one of the mini bathrooms to a second shower in the facility block near Verger would be a great addition. With only one there is often a queue. Adding an EV fast charger would bring more visitors to your site who would stay longer. I noticed at least 3 EVs this weekend. We managed to top up charge overnight for our short journeys from the pitch electricity supply but for travelling further a chargeable fast charge set up would bring you even more visitors. I experienced this a lot travelling around Spain and Portugal. Finally, larger group bookings are a bit more challenging online.

Positiv: Welcoming, friendly and a great atmosphere with excellent facilities. We have been visiting Chateloup for many years as it's great to watch the race but then to come back to an oasis of peace and quiet!
