Positiv: This is a lovely spot. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, pitches and cabins set back in shady trees with a lake, a pool and spotlessly clean ablutions. A pleasant restaurant and a little shop. And all managed by the most wonderful, warm hearted and friendly staff you could wish for - all multilingual. This will become a regular stop for us to / from Caen. Oh .. and dogs stay for free too!

Verbesserungswürdig: Restaurant open for lunch ? But honestly, hard to improve upon perfection

Positiv: Our request for a shaded site was granted which was a relief as we were there during the heatwave. The reception staff could not be more helpful and provided some freezer space to chill our cool packs. The bar and restaurant were lovely although the menu is a bit unimaginative. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The pool area was very pretty and catered for kids as well as adults.

Verbesserungswürdig: The only negative I have is about dealing with plastic waste. Bins for general waste and glass waste were plentiful across the site but there was a sign on the bins saying plastic waste must be taken to the bin at the red gate. I asked a member of staff where it was and he took me in a buggy. I think it would be helpful to have a bin for plastic waste along side the other bins.

Positiv: Friendly helpful staff, most of whom speak English. Great pool area, nice dog walking area through a wooded area. Wifi not that great. Bar was good and prices were reasonable ( £6 for a pint of Lager)

Positiv: De keuze van campingplek in het voorseizoen. Ivm hitte gingen we van veel zon naar een schaduwplek op voorstel medewerker! Netjes.

Verbesserungswürdig: Tussen de bomen iets meer verlichting. De bar open houden tijdens de voetbalwedstrijden i.i.g. tot sluitingstijd open houden en niet eerder sluiten.

Positiv: Mooie uitgestrekte camping. Uitermate vriendelijk personeel

Positiv: Delightful setting in the grounds of a beautiful chateau, spacious unstructured pitches, super friendly & helpful staff, plentiful & clean facilities, delicious evening meal & fresh bread & pastries delivered in the morning from the local boulangerie

Positiv: We liked the calm relaxed friendly atmosphere, the woodland setting, and the beautiful swimming pool.

Positiv: Booked having spent 4 nights at another castles site
