Positiv: We had a very quiet peaceful spot at the end of the island, hence, no traffic at the end of the road! The site was tidy and amenities good. Within easy walking distance of a beautiful beach and ‘centre ville’. Porte en Re has a supermarket with everything you’d need when in a ‘camping car’. We didn’t use any eateries as we were self catering but the restaurants appeared popular. The cycling network is brilliant AND it’s flat! You don’t need to use a car until you leave if you take your own bikes. There are also lots of bike hire centres dotted across the island.

Verbesserungswürdig: We went mid September, after the peak. The toilets were short of paper when required! And a couple of times the toilets weren’t fully clean.Take your own soap and towels for handwashing. Not really any downside otherwise.

Positiv: Not very much to like about this place except that it was quiet.

Verbesserungswürdig: The whole site needs to be tidied up - the whole area was littered with dried leaves and the chalets looked ancient. Unfortunately, the appearance of the site was very disappointing

Verbesserungswürdig: Rien, c'était bien, j'avais amené couette, oreiller, draps de sessous et même edredon. ... pour faire comme à la maison !

Positiv: Very well kept campsite. Great location. Nice and quiet with friendly people. Good clean facilities.

Positiv: proximity to beach 5 min easy bike ride. late arrivals have pitch map & keycode in envelope,stuck on reception window so hassle free. peaceful with clean facilities. Yes, bit of view of mens backs at urinals,so look sideways for 2/3 steps. Pleased to find pool still heated in Sept so thankyou.

Verbesserungswürdig: Remove/clear vegetation totally obscuring your entrance sign.( Are we there.??..is this it..??.) Arriving late, the signage from road was small &we missed the little finger post. Could be bigger and brighter....its a pain turning round when you miss it. Dont expect pool to be as big as it looks in that v flattering photo! .However clean,warm with good childrens bit so thumbs up.

Positiv: very enjoyable ,freindly staff/ clean toilets will return.

Positiv: place à l'ombre pas très loin des sanitaires/espace disponible et très arboré, le silence des lieux=camping au milieu de la nature: NE RIEN CHANGER SUR CE POINT ET GARDER LE PLUS LONGTEMPS POSSIBLE DES PLACES POUR CAMPER!

Verbesserungswürdig: A l'entrée dans le camping des Portes en Ré, on s'avance assez près pour pianoter le code mais le nez du véhicule bute dans la plante verte et déclenche l'alarme! (bien d'être accueilli par des fleurs mais laissez un peu de place pour se glisser dans les lieux....

Positiv: Tout le personnel est très sympathique et avenant. Le séjour a été parfait, l'emplacement très grand. Le camping est très bien entretenu. Les sanitaires bien chauffés.
