Positiv: Friendly and helpful receptionist, good sized pitches, clean facilities. Nice location, close to beaches and marshes for birdwatching. Great cycle routes, although we didn't use them because of bad weather. The village was lovely too.

Verbesserungswürdig: The press button showers didn't last long, but they were warm so it's a small complaint.

Positiv: Un bon moment passer dans ce camping, les douches et sanitaires communs propres, le bivouac niquel à notre arrivé, le petit déjeuné dans un panier très mignon avec la terrasse devant ainsi que le petit détail 5min à pied de la plage franchement un très beau week-end !

Verbesserungswürdig: sanitaire pas toujours propre malgré le nettoyage des agents de propreté il y a malheureusement certaines personnes qui se croit tous permis , ex: papier toilette avec excrément dans la poubelle des lavabos et j'ai remarqué que souvent se sont des étranger .

Positiv: We had a very quiet peaceful spot at the end of the island, hence, no traffic at the end of the road! The site was tidy and amenities good. Within easy walking distance of a beautiful beach and ‘centre ville’. Porte en Re has a supermarket with everything you’d need when in a ‘camping car’. We didn’t use any eateries as we were self catering but the restaurants appeared popular. The cycling network is brilliant AND it’s flat! You don’t need to use a car until you leave if you take your own bikes. There are also lots of bike hire centres dotted across the island.

Verbesserungswürdig: We went mid September, after the peak. The toilets were short of paper when required! And a couple of times the toilets weren’t fully clean.Take your own soap and towels for handwashing. Not really any downside otherwise.
