Positiv: How second time at Le Picard A beautiful site ,with great facilities English speaking host,Delphine looks after you , information readily available and if not you only have to ask .only 50 minutes away from the British war memorial at Normandy beaches and 28 minutes to the town of Bayeux and the Bayeux tapestry and 49 minutes to the port of Quistreham ,so ideally located for ferries ,and for any fisherman a lake with carp. Positiv: We stayed here to be close to Normandy beaches and WW2 memorials. What a lovely find, a small campsite with the friendliest owners we have met anywhere. They run the site by themselves. So quiet and lots of birds to listen to. Had a nice heated pool although we didn’t get a chance to try it. Bar /restaurant is great food was really nice and very relaxed atmosphere. We stayed during the England semi final and watched it in the small bar with a few other guests and the owners , great friendly atmosphere.

Positiv: The owners could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The facilities are very good. It was quiet and peaceful, apart from the nearby cockerel !!
